TRUE VINTAGE 1950'S - 1960'S WOMEN'S BLOUSE OF RAYON CHIFFON

Love the Florida colors of this breezy blouse (and guess where I am now!). I found this here several years ago. It had been sold originally at some relatively small shop with its own label.

The blouse is sheer, with fabric-covered buttons. You can almost guess where it’s from just by looking at it. It’s just right, with a pair of white slacks, for a walk along the boardwalk or some leisurely shopping.

I go for walks along the boulevards, looking at the bungalows and the villas, wondering whose closet this came from. You just never know . . . . . . . . .

TRUE VINTAGE MEN’S PAJAMA FROM THE 1950’S OR 1960’S

TRUE VINTAGE MEN’S PAJAMA FROM THE 1950’S OR 1960’S

TRUE VINTAGE MEN'S PAJAMA FROM THE 1950'S OR 1960'S

Sticking with men’s fashion for another day, I could not possibly resist picking up this vintage pajama top. The pattern and colors are so vivid and interesting to me.

Even though the pants have gone by the wayside some time in the past, wouldn’t it be fun to wear this top with black or red bottoms? For sleeping or lounging at home, I love it.

Some PJ’s have very funny or unusual prints. Take a look at a men’s pair that I posted back in December, I think, with fans on them! Strange for men’s clothing, but lots of fun!

Can’t remember the name on the label of this one(I’m still posting from previous photos of things at home), but it’s something like Maxwell or Marlboro – nothing I’ve ever heard of before.
The construction is classic, 100% cotton, in excellent condition. Because of the above, it’s hard to date them exactly – could go anywhere from 1940’s to (maybe) 1970’s. Who cares? They magically transport me into an old movie starring . . . . . . . . . .
