Another of my last year’s finds. When I’m traveling, it’s possible only to photograph things on a hanger; but, now that I have the stellar Stella working with me, I can picture them properly.
This dress is made of a lovely, slinky rayon – probably with a hand (feel) a lot like the real ones from the 1930’s. You can’t beat the drape of a really nice rayon fabric and how it falls over and accentuates the body.
The collar and tie are real stylistic touches from the Thirties era, too, and who can beat that color for the up-coming season? A really nice retro piece is sometimes worth collecting – especially when it’s also true vintage . . . . .
