So, that’s done for now and we’re on to the Fall fashion season. So much going on for all of us. I’m musing about whether to do another series right away. There are still a trunk-load of finds from the past two years to catalog for you, as well as a thorough wardrobe review when I finally return to Headquarters. I will be sharing a lot of documentary evidence at that time.
As is, likely, also very true for you, daily life remains “up in the air”. For that reason, there are no announcements to be made at this hot minute. But, keep the circuits open and stay tuned because you will be the first to know . . . . . . . . .

So, here’s a Summer mini-dress for hot days. Non-stop cuteness from the 1960’s in a breezy A-line style, kind of MOD. So easy-wear with adjustable back ties and front button closure.
This one was custom-tailored. Nicely finished at the neckline and armholes with matching liner. The fabric is a loosely-woven hopsack-y type, which was very popular in the late 1960’s.

Couldn’t wait for summer! What a great discovery – an iconic halter frock in luscious cotton. These sexy and cool dresses are perfect for hot days (and nights). Move over, Marilyn . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

How cute is this – and, in wonderful condition?! Nice two-tone probably cotton fabric, with a flippy pleated skirt and button tab decoration at the hip-line. It was fashioned at home by a seamstress with confidence who made exactly what she wanted, with a perfect fit for her. It’s a little big on me, but the style makes it super-easy to alter the size.
I can just imagine Ann-Margret in a frock like this one, riding on the back of a scooter in a mid-century movie. What a treat!
