Although 1970’s fashions are definitely not a big deal for me, I will pick up something that is especially nice. I like this one because of the diagonal stripe contrast on top, nice drape of the knit fabric and the covered belt.
Sometimes they get things right during every decade and, OK, I’m a style snob in some ways. . . . .

I’ve seen a picture of my mother (it MUST BE a picture from the ’70s because in the picture she’s holding baby me & I was born in 1977) in something similar to this. Same colors only it was a wrap dress.

Problem is, I can’t find that picture NOW & of course the dress is nowhere to be found. While she lost the pregnancy weight after she had me, that was not the case with my two younger sisters. All her “skinny clothes” probably went to good will, not that they’d fit me, but still, would be cool to have.
