Valentine’s Day is almost here and there are such a sweet collection of things to wear to a holiday party in my closet! These pink patent stilettos are some of my favorites.
These pumps are beautiful 100% leather from top to bottom. No wonder they’ve lasted 50 years, and can go a lot longer. It’s hard to find shoes of this quality now, so I always prefer my true vintage ones. They’re usually more comfortable, too.
I’ve got lots of lovely vintage shoes because I’m always finding them. You just never know . . . .

Agreed about completely leather shoes. They really don’t make them like they used to! And finding treasures like these at thrift stores is NOT a difficulty– it just takes patience and determination to revisit the stores regularly. With prices under $10 for vintage shoes, a little saddle soap, mink oil, and perhaps getting the heels re-capped is about all it might need. But even if there is some nicks or wear in the leather, a good shoe repair may cost up to $50– but you’re still ahead on price when it comes to comparing high-value shoes.

Yes, there’s nothing like quality. The value is there in so many ways.
