A few weeks ago (2 or 3 . . . . . ) I was surprised to notice an ad had been placed on my blog.  Apparently, my blog host had done so as a cost-saving method on their part.  I can opt out of this, but it will cost me to buy my way out.  

     I understand the host’s need to cover their costs and have decided to allow these ads for the time being, as they are supposed to be very rare and carefully screened.  If I don’t think they are  offensive, I will continue as things stand.

     Please be aware that I do not have anything to do with picking these ads, nor do I know when they may appear.  If anything that crops up is offensive to you, please leave me a comment about it.
